MIX Wins Big at Patriot Pitch Competition

On April 10th, the Patriot Pitch finals welcomed 8 total teams in the STEM, Social Impact, General Entrepreneurship for Undergraduate Students, and General Entrepreneurship for Graduate Students and Recent Alumni tracks. The MIX supported 4 teams within the STEM and General Entrepreneurship tracks.

STEM- First place: Barty AI (Sahil Jagtap and Sam Mathew) 

STEM- Second place: Q Haven (Caden Green)

General Entrepreneurship Undergraduate - First place: Valor (Caleb Fink) 

General Entrepreneurship Graduate & Alumni - Second place: EchoPods (Raghu Manjunatha, Pooja Manjunatha-Swamy)

The MIX is no stranger to seeing success at the Patriot Pitch competition. Last year, Zachary Suh of Aldie, Virginia, won top prize at the 2024 competition with his company ElderlyEats. This year, he acts as a mentor to the incubator residents and current cohort of the 2025 Spring MIX Student Innovator Mastermind. Read more about Suh’s win from last year.

Sahil Jagtap(BartyAi), Sam Mathew (BartyAi), and Caleb Fink(Valor) are all graduates of the MIX Student Innovator Mastermind program and were mentored by MIX Assistant Director Lisa Shapiro. Team EchoPods is made up of MIX student staff members Raghu Manjunatha and Pooja Manjunatha-Swamy and were mentored by the MIX incubator. Q Haven by Caden Green was mentored by MIX Senior Director Gisele Stolz.

The MIX Incubator has grown tremendously and we congratulate everyone who participated in the 2025 Patriot Pitch.
