The MIX Welcomes 5 Skilled Student Staff Associates

The MIX is proud to be supported by a diverse team of skilled and dedicated Student Staff Associates representing a wide range of backgrounds, interests, and technical expertise. As previous staff members have graduated and demand for advanced workshops continues to grow, we conducted a university-wide search to identify talented students in key areas: the Media Lab, Textiles, and General Makerspace Operations.

We are excited to announce that five students have been selected and have begun their roles with the MIX. Among them is returning staff member Colin Jackson, who previously oversaw operations in the MIX Fabrication Lab and brings valuable experience back to the team.

These new team members bring specialized expertise that will support niche and highly requested offerings, including Introduction to Unity and Unreal Game Engines, Sewing for Cosplay, Design Your Own Sewing Patterns, Locating Break Wires, and Advanced PCB Design.
