Fall ’26 MIX Welding Workshops Are Going Strong!

The Fall ’26 MIX Welding Workshops are in full swing! Join us every Friday from 12–2 PM in the MLB 1017 Workspace for hands-on experience learning the fundamentals of MIG welding.

These workshops introduce students to the tools, techniques, and processes used to join metal, with an emphasis on safe practices and practical skill-building. Participants get the opportunity to work directly with mild steel and develop foundational welding skills through guided, hands-on practice.

Students will learn the basics of MIG welding and practice techniques including spot welding, running a weld bead, and joining pieces of mild steel. Whether you're exploring metalworking for the first time or looking to expand your fabrication skills, the MIX Welding Workshops offer an opportunity to turn curiosity into practical experience.
