MIX Interactive Embedded Systems Design Badge Finals (Fall ’25)

The tradition lives on with ECE 350 Professor Pelin Kurtay presenting her student finals in the MIX but this time with a twist… ECE 350 students this semester will also be receiving a MIX Interactive Embedded Systems Design Badge which defines specific skills gained through this partnership. These students used the MIX to develop, fabricate and innovate new structures to bring their interactive systems to life using PI with Python and a range of other fabricated, repurposed and hand made materials.
Dr. Kurtay’s students presented their Fall ECE 350 final projects Wednesday December 3rd and Monday December 8th, 2025. Each project employed innovative prototypes with embedded systems on the Raspberry PI platform with some having a software extension.
Dr. Pelin Kurtay is this year’s KEEN faculty fellow. All ECE 350 students that fulfill requirements also receive a MIX badge entitled the MIX Interactive Embedded Systems Design Badge.
