The first node in this network was the MIX@Innovation, a 1,400-square foot maker space that opened in October 2015. This dedicated maker space in Innovation Hall has equipment including 3-D printers, tools, sewing machines, microelectronics, and virtual reality and augmented reality consoles. MIX@Innovation is the first stop for students and faculty who want to design and build physical products.
